DAO AND Project Director (ATMA-Dimapur), Ahovi Sema inaugurated the Farm Information and Advisor Centre (FIAC) at Dhansaripar block on May 31. The project director in his speech explained on the working principle of FIAC and activities of farmers friends (FF) and encouraged the farmers to take advantage of the facilities provided to them.
BTT members of Dhansaripar block as well as other blocks, from Agri. and allied departments attended the programme.
The inaugural programme was followed by a meeting wherein the problems, needs and expectations of the farmers of Dhansaripar block were recorded for future action. The meeting was attended by about 70 participants including ATMA officials.
