The all Nagaland college students’ union (ANCSU) Wednesday issued an ultimatum to Nagaland University vice-chancellor demanding declaration of undergraduate results on or before June 10. The union cautioned that it would respond “befittingly” upon failure to declare results within stipulated period. “Any course of action initiated by the union the vice chancellor shall be solely held responsible,” the ANCSU speaker Vilhouselie and general secretary Bendangnukshi stated in a release. According to ANCSU the “inefficiency” in the university, and the delay in declaration of results, has hampered the career of student community. Further, the union reaffirmed its stand to strongly adhere to the agreement and committed made by the v-c to declare undergraduate results within 60 days as per UGC norms on August 10 last year.
