Vocational trg on mushroom production

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Tuensang conducted a three days vocational training on mushroom production from June 6 to 8 at KVK Demonstration Farm, Kuthur and at KVK office Tuensang. Altogether 28 farmers, 19 males and 9 females from Kuthur, Chinmelen and Khudei were trained on production of oyster mushroom on paddy straw. Mushroom spawn was also provided to the trained farmer for home production. Spawns for the training was obtained from the district horticulture office Mokokchung. SMS, Horticulture KVK, Tuensang was the trainer for the training.
