A day long training programme was held at Aizuto Mission centre, in Zunheboto district. A total of 35 participants were imparted training by Edenly Chishi (SMS) Horticulture on usefulness of shade net house and poly house for growing of vegetables and flowers throughout the year. They were also explained in detail about the advantages and the cropping pattern to be followed for maximizing production from a small area. Later, Rakesh Kumar Chaurasia (SMS) Animal Science imparted training on different aspects of pig and poultry production. Participants were imparted training on selection of breeds, housing, feeding, production and disease management for maximum production and were also provided with free medicines to protect the animals from disease, worms and mineral and vitamin deficiency.
