Ehunnu water reservoir tank was inaugurated at Ehunnu village, Tseminyu Sub-division, Kohima district by project director cum DPC (NREGA) DRDA Nolengo in the presence of Rosele Kath, BDO -cum- programme officer, Tseminyu, Nagaland. The water tank was constructed at a cost of approx. 13 lakhs under NREGA fund. According to Ehunnu village council, the tank is probably the only water reservoir in the whole of Rengma area constructed under NREGA. Apart from drinking water, the water reservoir is fitted with fire-fighting a capability which is first of its kind in Tseminyu sub-division. Ehunnu village council under the leadership of Nlechung Kath expressed gratitude to project director, BDO and rural development department in general for bringing changes in the rural setup.
