Pangti village appeals for action against misuse of village fund

The residents of Pangti village have expressed gratitude to deputy commissioner, convener Audit Review Committee and his colleagues for declaring the much awaited final audit report of Pangti village for the calendar year 2008 and 2009 on June 8 at DC Conference hall, Wokha.
A press statement issued by R. Tsamomo Patton, seasonal chairman and Nyimthungo Yanthan, seasonal secretary Pangti village said the subjugation of financial administration by some vested individual in the village resulted in the loss of `24 lakhs on November 4, 2009 which was equivalent to misuse of amount apprehended by the review committee.
While appreciating the district administration, the public of Pangti village also appealed to the authority to initiate timely action against all those persons involved in the misuse of village fund as per the provision of law.
