Police personnel manning Khuzama check gate detected and seized around 400 Kgs of contraband Ganja from a black Bolero and arrested the lone occupant Thursday morning.
According to police source, the police personnel manning the check gate on suspicion intercepted the black Bolero (NL-07 5734) which was proceeding towards Dimapur and on frisking found the contraband ganja neatly packed in 41 packages.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was later identified as one Khavangami Tangkhul @ Alex (26) hailing from Teinem village under Ukhrul district of Manipur. Meanwhile, a case has been registered at Khuzama Police Station and investigation was on till the time of filing this report.
