Border Magistrate Level Meeting of Sivasagar district (Assam) and Mokokchung was held at Anaki C (Tuli) represented by Border Magistrate (Nazira) and EAC (Tuli). The meeting discussed at length on border related issues faced by the villagers. Anaki C and Anakiyimsen villagers also raised their grievances to the Border Madistrate (Nazira) and forest officials of Sivasagar. The meeting was graced by the presence of Assam-Nagaland Border Peace central Committee led by Temsuwati, co-ordinator and officials. The Border Peace Committee interacted with the villagers and appraised the villagers in having a Border Peace Sub-Committee of villagers from both sides. Anaki C and Anakiyimsen villagers agreed to adopt in principal, as and when encroachment from Assam side is brought to an end, to which Border Magistrate (Nazira) and Forest Official from Sivasagar assured the villagers on eviction of illegal encroachers on Anaki Area at the earliest.
