Police manning Peducha check post detected and seized a huge consignment of different brands of IMFL during a routine frisking from a Manipur bound truck Monday during wee hours. The seized consignment includes 260 cases of MC Rum, 37 cases of MC Whisky and 74 cases of Beer. The consignment was detected concealed under building materials from a truck bearing Manipur Registration No. MN-03T-0043 coming from Dimapur side at around 1am. In this connection, the driver of the truck identified as on Syed Muhibur Rahmed (29) was arrested and case registered at the North Police Station.
