In a major breakthrough, Mokokchung Police arrested two vehicle lifters on July 5 and 6 respectively. The accused are presently in the custody of the police and have been identified as Imnatoshi (18 yrs) S/o Gopal residing at Longjang village and Imtitoshi (17 yrs) S/o Lt. Bendangtoshi of Nokpu village residing at Mokokchung compound. According to OC PSII, S. Longkok Jamir, Imnatoshi was arrested at Chuchuyimlang Town on the night of July 5, while Imtitoshi was brought to PS II by the family members on July 6. OC further added that Imnatoshi confessed to stealing 9 nos. of scooters and while together with Imtitoshi, stole 3 scooters and 2 motorbikes. Police have registered a case against them and further investigations were on till the time of filing this report.
