There is good news for those looking to buy a new car as Honda Siel Cars India Ltd has slashed the price of the Honda Jazz by a whopping `1.76 lakh.
The base model of this hatchback will now be sold at around `3.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Experts believe the slash in prices has been triggered by a significant rise in competition in the segment with many rival companies introducing new models or upgrading existing ones.
The latest move by Honda has brought ‘Jazz’ closer to Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo in terms of price. In June the company had announced a similar price cut for its bestselling ‘City’ sedan.
