Farm school on sugarcane was inaugurated by Tokato Zhimomi deputy project director ATMA at Bhaimo village, Zunheboto on July 15. Speaking at the programme, Zhimomi explained the importance and functions of farm school and farm teacher.
He reminded farmers that self sustainability must be the goal in the near future and that the government was always ready to help progressive farmers in whatever way possible.
He also encouraged farmers to take advantage of the farm school for the benefit of the areas covered under it.
It may be mentioned that sugarcane farmers, BTT members and ATMA officials attended the programme.
