Adhoc teachers Mokokchung unit plea to regularize service

All Nagaland adhoc teachers union (ANATU) Mokokchung unit stated that adhoc teachers were not under the purview of SIT since they were appointed prior to 2002.
ANATU Mokokchung unit affirmed that question of genuine, fake, illegal, bogus or doubtful do not apply to adhoc teachers’ category.
ANATU said adhoc teachers were given only ROP 1993 when all the newly appointed teachers were enjoying the new ROP and thus placing its salary lower than grade IV staff.
Further, in the year 2008 the school education department collected its original document for verification but till date no action has been taken, stated ANATU Mokokchung unit.
Again in the year 2010, it said the department called the adhoc teachers for suitability test regularized those teachers who were junior to adhoc teachers and under investigation by SIT.
Taking this into consideration, the ANATU Mokokchung unit appealed to the government to redress its grievances in terms of regularization on basis of seniority and pay parity to other regularized teachers with retrospective effect.
