‘Reload’ a youth rally organized by Baptist youth fellowship Dimapur and Assembly of God youth joint fellowship Dimapur would be held on Friday July 29, 4pm at Town Baptist Church Dimapur near Christian higher secondary school Dimapur.
Rev. Dr. Jacob Cherian professor Southern Asia Bible College Bangalore would be the speaker and pastor Visato Yhoshü faculty and coordinator Southern Asia Bible College Bangalore the praise and worship leader.
Speaking to media persons, the organizers said for the first time, two denomination have come together to organize a youth rally; that is to spread the message of “oneness” among the Nagas.
“We are organizing this rally to tell the world that we cannot be divided because all are one in the eyes of God”, said one of the organizers.
They echoed that the rally was to spread the gospel to the “lost youth” and provide them a platform to rejuvenate and ‘Reload’ their faith. Further, the organizers anticipated that the rally would facilitate blending of Baptist and Assembly of God youth and worship God as one.
Rev. Dr. Jacob Cherian on his maiden visit to Nagaland spoke to the media saying that his message would be on ‘Transformation’, and urged the people to live a purposeful life. Cherian would be attending a youth ministry training program as a speaker at Kohima and Zubza. It may be mentioned that UDX formerly known as Dementia would be presenting a special performance and Cross Connection leading the praise and worship.
Meanwhile, the organizers have welcomed youth from all denominations to participate in the rally.
