Army to conduct recruitment rally

Army recruiting office Rangapahar, Dimapur would be conducting recruitment rallies under the aegis of headquarters recruiting zone, Shillong for unmarried male from August 20 to 28 at Bhagat Stadium, Rangapahar.
Recruitment would be conducted for Soldier GD for all districts of Nagaland, Soldier Clark/Store Keeper and Soldier Tech for all NE states.
A press release issued by J. Hota (Colonel) director recruiting, Rangapahar said candidates for Kiphire, Longleng, Mon and Phek for soldier would be held on August 20 while candidates for Wokha, Kohima, Peren, Tuensang, Mokokchung and Zunheboto on August 21.
He also said screening for the rally would commence at 6:30am each day for under-matriculates and screening for matriculates and above would follow thereafter.
Written test for selected candidates will be held conducted on August 28.
Sale of IMFL banned in Kuhuboto area
DIMAPUR: Kuhuboto Ghakhu Students’ Union (KGSU) has banned sale of liquor (IMFL) and other banned substances within the jurisdiction of Kuhuboto area with immediate effect.
KGSU in a press release stated that that the union would conduct surprise checking without prior notice and defaulter dealt sternly as per its resolution.
Meanwhile, the union has informed that it has constituted five member union advisory board for the tenure 2011-13.
The members are Honito Chishi Lotovi village, Vikato Chishi Nizhevi village, Tokhevi Kiba Hotovi village, Ghokiye Achumi Nihoto village, Ayito Yeptho Kuhuboto town.
