Dako flags off new NST bus service

Nagaland State Transport (NST) Dimapur has inaugurated a new NST bus service between Dimapur and A.K. Industrial village.
The service was inaugurated by P. Dako Phom parliamentary secretary, transport and mechanical engineering Nagaland on July 28
The programme was attended by Pekrusetuo Angami, general manager NST along with officers of the department and public leaders.
Speaking at the inaugural program, Phom said the bus service which was provided to a particular village by the government was a major development project to boost the socio-economic development of the area.
He further urged the villagers to protect the department and government properties and also the employees who he said would be rendering their services despite facing hardship while delivering services in rural areas.
He also added that it was a common concern for both the department and public to see that the service runs smoothly and ensure that no unwanted incidents/situation take place in the operation of the bus service.
