Acting on a tip-off, the special branch sleuths Saturday raided a house at Naharbari and seized a stolen Hyundai Verna (metallic silver colour), without the registration number, bearing engine no. D4F845F8820 and chassis no.MALCMIUR8M051631, police said.
On searching the house, twelve blank vehicle registration certificates bearing the seal and signature of district transport officer, Bishnupur and Thoubal districts of Manipur were seized from the possession of the house owner identified as one Inavi Achumi, son of Akhei Achumi of Netoi, Kiphire, police said.
