Frontline demonstration on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and use of Bio-Fertilizers on paddy was held on July 1at Xelhozhe village under Kuhuboto Block by ATMA-Dimapur.
Demonstrations and use of bio-fertilizers on paddy seedlings and also IPM on Paddy was demonstrated to the Farm School Students at field condition.
The farmers’ methods of raising crop would be compared to the Paddy treated with Bio-Fertilizers, Paddy transplanted with proper line and spacing and also with Paddy under Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The on-going frontline demonstration would enable the farmers to judge for themselves the results due to different methods of cultivation.
The master trainers were Bendanglila, APPO and Toivi Swu, AO & BTT Convenor (Kuhuboto Block). ATMA officials were also present to assist in the demonstration process.
