Zbto NSCB branch upgraded

Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB) Bank, Zunheboto branch was upgraded to ‘A’ Class on August 5.
Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, T. Kiheto Sumi who graced the inauguration function as the chief guest said,  NSCB Bank, Zunheboto Branch was established on October 29, 1976  fulfilling the aspiration of the people to have a bank of their own. Since its inception, the bank has extended help to all sections of people and the society, especially to the rural people, DC said.

He thanked the MD, NSCB Ltd. B.K Thandani for taking initiative and leading the role for revitalizing the ailing PACS with assistance from the Government of Nagaland.
MD, NSCB Ltd. B.K Thandani in his key note address said that up-gradation of ‘B’ Class to ‘A’ Class has been achieved through extensive and reciprocated support from the members of Co-operative society and economic development of the district. He also added that in order to provide hassle free service to customers, Zunheboto branch has installed customer friendly counter and started computerization.

The MD assured that core banking facilities would be made available within 2012-13. Short speeches were also delivered by Kashito Yepthomi, BOD Zunheboto and Ghokiho Zhimo, President ZDCU.
The function was chaired by Sr, Inspector Neitsote Thopi while invocation prayer was offered by Associated Pastor SBCZ Shitoho Kiho and vote of thanks proposed by Branch Manager, NSCB Zunheboto, Enok Awomi.
