Hannah Montana star Cody Linley’s brother Chad Linley has died at the age of 29. Cody played the boyfriend of actor/singer Miley Cyrus on the hit Disney TV show.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, no details have emerged about the untimely death. No one knows where or how the 29-year-old actor died. Linley had appeared in films including Frank & Jesse, Past the Bleachers and Queen Sized.
Celebrities shared their words of sympathy with Cody Linley following news of his brother’s death–in hopes that the Hannah Montana star would feel their love and comfort.
One such message came from Demi Lovato in the form of a tweet. Demi was a good friend to both Linley brothers.
“RIP Chad Linley.. Knew you since I was a kid.. You were family… You will be missed… Please #prayforcodylinley and his amazing family.”
Cody Linley is understandably distraught from losing his brother. He is extremely appreciative of the outpouring of love he has received in his time of need.
“Thanks for all the prayers and support. I appreciate everyone that has reached out to me one way or another,” the Hannah Montana star tweeted.
This is such a heartbreaking tragedy for anyone to experience. To lose a sibling will undoubtedly make a lifelong impact on Cody Linley. Hopefully he and his family will find comfort in the love and prayers bestowed on them during this sad time.
Details of Chad Linley’s death will undoubtedly be released before too long. One can only pray that the circumstances don’t inflict even more pain upon this Hannah Montana star and his family.
