The Governor’s Awards 2011 in the field of art, music and literature would be awarded on January 26, 2012 during the Republic Day function to Achila Imlong Erdican and Rev. Y. Chingang Konyak for literature and Hojevi Kappo and Lipokmar Tsudir for music. According to an official bulletin, in the field of art, no person is being awarded for the year 2011. There were altogether 16 nominees made by District Level Selection Committees, added the bulletin.
