Seitheke Basa Village (SBV) has appealed to the Irrigation & Flood Control department to implement Chathe River Protection Work Programme at the earliest.
In a press release Hieibi Vakha VC member Seitheke Basa Village stated that torrential rain causes not only heavy landslides but also flash flood which washed away many residential plots and the only connectivity i.e. hanging bridge to NH-29 via 6th mile lying in great danger.
Stating the hanging bridge is used by more thousands of people, the village has called for immediate action as they cannot do much due to financial constrain.
