Mokokchung excise department assisted by administration, police, municipal council and AKM destroyed 842 bottles of IMFL and 140 bottles of beer on September 19 which was seized by the excise department.
In the current year alone, the department arrested 108 persons for possession/sale and supply of illicit liquors.
The department has appreciated SDO (C) Nungsangmenla, destruction board chairman, police MMC and AKM and others who participated in the destruction of seized articles.
