In a delayed report received here, a woman was injured when a stray bullet hit her. The incident took place in D-Block Colony Kohima on September 20. D. Block Youth Organization (DBYO) in a statement said the shot was fired by one Neisakholie Rosino from Phekerkriema Village along with his accomplice Sopuhie of Chiechama Village.
DBYO said that the bullet ricocheted and hit the woman but she escaped with minor injuries.
DBYO warned that such anti-social activity would not be tolerated in the locality. It further cautioned that appropriate action would be taken against any person who disturbed peace and tranquility in the colony.
