‘Naga Orpheus Hunt 2011’ began its first video recording for ‘Naga Orpheus 2011’ at Noune resort with twenty one contestants, from all over Nagaland, who would be competing for the coveted title ‘Naga Orpheus 2011’.
Contestants of ‘Naga Orpheus Hunt 2011’ are Tsapila Anar const. No. 1 (Dimapur), Khumchoba. C No 2 (Kipheri), Vetulu Curhah No. 3 (Kohima), Njamo Kithan No. 4 (Mokokchung), Sungtinaro (Zarina) Longchar No. 5(Dimapur), Arenla Imchen No. 6 (Dimapur), Athrong Sangtam No. 7 (Dimapur), Imtisenla No. 8 (Kohima), Pongkyuse No. 9 (Kohima), Inakali Assumi No.10 (Dimapur), Temjen Jamir No. 11 (Mokokchung), Maongtoshi No. 12 (Dimapur), Kezeville No. 13 (Kohima), Kezhocuyi Kezo No. 14 (Dimapur), A. Anjo No. 15 (Dimapur), D. Longpang Angh No. 16 (Longleng), Tovika Sumi No. 16 (Mokokchung), Supou Khiam No.18 (Dimapur), Kokliba Jing’s No. 19 (Kohima), Rangchopi No. 20 (Kiphire) and Sepichem Sangtam No.21 (Kohima); Rangchopi No. 20 entered the first round as Mdacc green card holders, selected by the judges through mini auditions.
The organizers said that a wild card entry would be allotted by the judges of the contest in every round.
Out of twenty one contestants, fourteen would be selected for the next round i.e sound track recording which is scheduled to be held on October 28 at IMC Hall Dimapur where the contestants; the result for the first recording would be declared at IMC Hall.
The third round of piano recording is scheduled at November 8 at Niathu resort.
The organizers also said that all video recording would be telecast in the local channels and disclosed that snippets of the video recording would also be telecast at music channel Hit7. The judges of the first video recording were Bambi, Tali Angh and first Naga Indol Moanungsung.
