The All Nagaland Taxis Association (ANTA) has convened an emergency meeting on November 26 at its headquarter in Kohima.
Informing this, ANTA president Vivor Miachie-o said ANTA office bearers have been compelled to organize the meet to discuss matters in connection with the recent development of “ANTA Dimapur unit attempting to break away from association”.
Dimapur unit is one of the founding units but during the last ANTA foundation day on November 18, it defiantly organized the ANTA Dimapur unit annual picnic and failed to join the ANTA annual foundation day celebration which was hosted by Kohima unit this year at Zubza, stated ANTA.
He also stated that all members including those representing different units present at ANTA annual foundation day celebration were of the view that the very act of Dimapur unit was a “great insult and a threat” to the unity of the association.
While requesting all the units to attend the meeting, ANTA president also informed members to lodge any grievances or complaint before the house on the day of the meeting.
