The 58th Old Riphyim Students’ Union (ORBC) general conference cum felicitation programme for the successful candidates of NPSC, academic meritorious students 2010-11 on the theme “Go forth and reach out” will be held from December 27 to 28 at Morashen Hall, Old Riphyim Village.
The programme will be graced by M. Patton, (I.A.S). Secy. to the Govt. Of Nagaland, Deptt. Of Land Resource as chief guest, theme speaker Mentsio Patton, Retd. DIS, while Kilo Kithan, Assoc.
Pastor ORBC will exhort the gathering. The union president Nchumbeni N. Patton in a press note had invited all former office bearers, village council members, church leaders and students of Old Riphyim Village residing in and outside the village to attend the programme positively.
The union further informed all meritorious students of 2010 batch of HSLC and above to submit Xerox copies of mark sheet to the executives on or before December 26.
The union said it has arranged transportation from Wokha Town to Riphyim on December 28 where the departure time has been fixed at 6am from Police Point, Wokha. All delegates have been asked to wear traditional attire while attending the session.
