Sumi Hoho (SH) has “provisionally accepted” the resignation letter of its vice president Kitoho S. Rotokha dated December 30, 2011 with immediate effect.  A statement issued by SH president H. Hesso Friday said the same would be “endorsed” by Sumi Baghi Hoho to be convened within 45 days.

SH and its frontal organizations had “fervently” appealed for reconsideration and revocation of the “caution notice” served on Kitoho S. Rotokha by NSCN (K) through the media on December 29, 2011 demanding his resignation or face “dire consequences”, stated the press release.

It said SH leaders had gone “to the extent of meeting them personally” and presented the view that “statements” made by any SH officials was on “behalf of the Hoho” and should not be considered as an individual opinion. However, repeated “caution notice” had been served to the leader, Sumi Hoho stated.
