The famous Gospel singer, John W Smith who is also the former vocalists is the popular Christian rock band PETRA is all set to rock the state capital Kohima for the first time Monday at Kohima local ground at 4 pm onwards.
Revealing this, the organizers Metro team which called for a press conference at CIMORB hotel, Kohima the popular gospel singer is said to have expressed his desired to looking forward to the show which he said is “”very blessed” at the Kohima local ground, tomorrow at 4 PM. “Nagas are part of my family, part of the family of God.
This part of the country (India)’s always been fun for me”, the renowned singer is learnt to have said. Unfortunately, the Nagaland Post could not cover the press conference due to communication gap as correspondent get the information much behind the scheduled of the press conference.
It was however learnt that Smith who is in much a spirit for the concert expressed his believe that his band “have the chance to live with an unbelievable God, but He gives us choices.”
He is said to have advices the aspiring Christian Bands to – “Get a real job” saying that because they are a Christian, they don’t even say you are just good enough because God deserves the best.”
At the same time he also advised them to be humble by saying “never feel like you are too good for a show, you never know what God has in store for you”, he said and reminded that one should believe in oneself and give only the best and don’t let your pride get in the way.
