Cambyses first came together as a band in early 2011 by four metal enthusiastic high school friends, enlightened by rock songs and fans of metal.
While respecting the worldly decorum of maintaining a good grade in their school they spend free time working on covers and originals, following their dreams.
Although lacking behind in age and experience, Cambyses has already shared the stage with two of the greatest Metal bands in North East India today, Alien Gods (Arunachal Pradesh) and Melodrama (Nagaland) in June 2011 and also rubbed shoulders with Nagaland’s best at the NSACS Rock Aware in December last year.
Their early maturity in music, their crazy love for metal, useful inputs and senior friends and Akang Jamir taking the reins of the band as the manager puts the band in a different level. Their first single is called “Wicked valentine”.
