February 10, 2012 | by admin

Educated Unemployed Union Nagaland (EUUN) has expressed its out right condemnation towards the “dishonest act” of one Hosheto Swu, a resident of Purana Bazar, who was arrested by Dimapur police while extorting illegal tax of Rs. 500 from shops located at G.S Road in its name.

In a statement, the EUUN vice president Azeu Namcyn Hau said Hosheto’s “unscrupulous act” was not only an insult to the union but a challenge, which he said would be “fittingly dealt” with after thorough deliberation.

Also, while lauding the Dimapur police for timely intervention and taking stock of the situation, the EUUN said the police did a great job by instilling security and safety. It expressed hope that all police personnel in the state followed the “good example.”
