Leader of opposition Tokheho Wednesday disclosed that the Congress would move breach of privilege motion against the secretary Parliamentary Affairs in the state legislative assembly.
“We will move breach of privilege motion against Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs in the coming assembly session and not this session” stated Tokheho while addressing a press conference at Hotel Japfu.
He also said that it was clear case of breach of privilege by a secretary , when he directed the All Administrative Heads of department in the secretariat to reply in Enclosed : Model Answer on the questioned for un-starred questioned asked by Lanpha Konyak MLA regards funds received from the Government of India for implementation of the 6th Pay Commission ROP.
He said that in his 19 years as member in the State Legislative Assembly, it was for the first time he came across such directives issued by a secretary. Tokheho also handed out to media the two xerox copies of the same.
