The 29 Assam Rifles under the aegis of headquarter 6 sector AR/IGAR (North) donated four computer sets, stationery items and sports items to Children Home of Refuge & School under Assam Rifles military civic action project 2011-12, at New Showuba (Loyir) Village, Dimapur, on March 22.
During the presentation programme, Commandant Rakesh Bhardhwaj, 29 AR and Lt. Col. Vivek Kumar, 29 AR handed over the items to the school.
Expressing gratitude to the 29 Assam Rifles, Mathew K Janger, in-charge of the Children Home of Refuge & School said that such noble gesture of Assam Rifles would not only bring about positive changes to the lives of needy children but also strengthen the friendship between Assam Rifles and local people.
