GPRN/NSCN’s cease-fire supervisory board (CFSB) members would be leaving for Delhi Thursday to discuss extension of the ongoing cease-fire agreement scheduled to expire on April 28.
GPRN/NSCN’s CFSB supervisor C. Singson along with five other members would meet representatives of Government of India on April 27 for the extension of cease-fire between the parties.
Talking to Nagaland Post, CFSB secretary Kideon confirmed that they (CFSB members) were leaving for Delhi as there was a “need” to keep the cease-fire going so as to “expedite” “political talks” between the two entities.
It may be mentioned that the ongoing cease-fire between NSCN (K) and Government of India is also to “expire” on April 28.
