Vigilance and Monitoring Committee (V&MC) has informed all VDB secretaries, village level watershed committee chairmen of land resources department and WATSAN committee chairmen of PHED, residing in towns or outside the village to go to their respective villages at the earliest for proper maintenance of records and for judicious used of Ministry of Rural Development (MRD Funds).
Failing which, V&MC members, S. Richard Humtsoe said the matter would be taken up to the chief minister and chairman of SLV & MC rural development department, and would tantamount to cancellation of the appointment orders.
Subsequently, V&CMs and GBs have been advised to strictly adhere to it for the welfare and betterment of the Village. Meanwhile, district administration and officers in charge of line departments have also been asked to take serious note of this notification as official audit and programme implementation reports are going on throughout the state by GOI nominees of SLV & MC members for better implementation of MORD programme in the state.
