After four-days of intensive workshop on photography titled ‘Mokokchung Visual Diary’ held at Eastern Talkies movie theatre, the participants were taught how to make ‘pin-hole camera’ out of matchboxes by resource persons from Goa-centre for alternative Photography.
The last few days of the ‘Mokokchung Visual Diary’ photography workshop enlightened the participants on camera aperture and shutter speed etc.
Thursday’s class was about making pinhole cameras out of matchboxes.
The Mokokchung Photography Club in a release stated that it was keen to observe “World Pinhole Photography Day” which will be celebrated for the first time in Nagaland on April 29.
‘Mokokchung Visual Diary’ photography workshop was being jointly organized by Mokokchung Photography Club (MPC) and Goa-Centre for alternative photography.
More than twenty five photo enthusiasts are taking part in the workshop. The Mokokchung Visual Diary aims to teach the participants not only how to capture good pictures but also how to tell a story through photographs.
The MPC and Goa-CAP hopes that the participants after attending the workshop would be able to document photo stories and tell the different aspects of Naga way of life through photos.
