Darogajan village led by its council has taken up a major drainage project about two kilometers long main drainage outlet in the village. Village council chairman, Vitokhu Achumi in a release stated the village often faces major water inundation problem during rainy season and felt it was necessary to construct the drainage.
Due to financial constraint, the council said it was not able to start work as planned, and that the work could begin only after it received fund through MGNREGA and also contribution from well wishers and villagers.
Vitokhu Achumi further appealed to all the residents of the village to extend their co-operation towards successful completion of the work.
