The AG audit team comprising of 5-member officials led by Hari Das and accompanied by Dimapur DRDA officials Tsukti BDO, Pillia J.E and K.Alem S.O, visited Khriezephe Village on May 16 and inspected the developmental works carried out in the village under MGNREGA since 2008 to 2012.
This visit was organized in compliance to the directive of the Govt. Of India, the Accountant General (AG) of Nagaland tied up with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) to inspect and audit MNGREGA schemes.
Besides inspecting the works carried out at Khriezephe, all relevant documents such as assets register, cash books, muster rolls, employment registers, job cards, bank account of MGNREGA and GIA and stock registers etc., were thoroughly checked and audited.
In addition to that, one to one interaction with the village MGNREGA job card holders was conducted in order to collect first hand information from the grass root level.
