‘Xcelerate-a live two way interactive program brought by Resonance (Kota), Rajasthan and HCL learning was formerly launched on Saturday for the first time in the state for aspiring career oriented students.
The two-way interactive technology launched at Digitech in association with HCL-Resonance is an exclusive coaching provider for IIT-JEE, AIEEE, AIPNT, NTSE, ITT-JEE students.
Speaking at the inauguration cum dedication ceremony of the HCL-Resonance first interactive coaching centre at Digitech-the institute of IT and management, a learning centre of Sikkim Manipal University (SMU), Jo-Elah Mansion, Church Road, near Plaza Bakery Dimapur, Maongwati Aier, commissioner of Excise, Dimapur expressed the need to have innovation in every walk of life especially in the field of technology, administration, information technology, education and every sector to compete with the rest of the world.
He said introduction of interactive coaching would give direct access to education and would go a long way in solving unemployment problem and drop out rate in the state. The commissioner felt that innovation in IIT would come where there was freedom of expression, transparency, and honesty.
Stressing on the importance of IT world and education for the growth of society, the chief guest cited the example of Korea wherein he highlighted that Korea emerged as one of the most advanced countries in technology and economy with the development of human resources after the World War-II.
Emphasizing on the development brought by IIT sector in the state and the world, the commissioner said today IIT sector has hit the whole state in bringing education and competing with the rest of the world.
He said since Nagaland attained statehood in 1963, for more than 1½ decade, Nagas have been going outside the state for education due to lack of complete infrastructure, but added with the growth of technology, IIT was introduced in the state.
He said people should take the opportunity in availing the facilities so that Nagas too can track not only in IIT-JEE, AIEEE, AIPNT, NTSE, ITT-JEE exam but also IAS, IPS and Indian Foreign exam.
Narrating that many Naga students in New Delhi spend lakhs for the coaching, Maongwati felt the same facility was available at the door step at just Rs. 59,000 per annum and encouraged the faculty and management of Digitech to introduce the program in all the 11 districts of the state.
The guest of honour, Aheto Sumi, president of All Nagaland private Schools Association encouraged students to avail the opportunity which they have missed for many years and said the facilities provided by the centre was a blessing to the people.
In the programme, resource person, Pradeep Kumar, HCL Xcelerate expert, New Delhi gave a presentation on Xcelerate, coaching brought by HLC learning and Resonance for various engineering and medical exams and centre director of the centre, Manosha Borkotoky briefed the major activities of SMU in its 13 years journey.
