United Sangtam Region, GPRN/NSCN dismayed over free movement

United Sangtam Region (USR) of GPRN/NSCN has expressed dismay over the free movement an NSCN (K) cadre on June 30 at Longkhim. N. Moses Sangtam, RAO, USR GPRN/NSCN Sunday alleged that one NSCN (K) cadre identified as ‘coprl’.

Horangse Sangtam, son of Singphukiu Sangtam of Phelonger village came at Longkhim on June 30 at 6 p.m. without any ‘rhyme and reason’.

Moses Sangtam said that the cadre was interrogated and released unconditionally without any harm in the presence of USLP and relatives.

USR, GPRN/ NSCN, has also affirmed and honored the resolution of ENPO for cessation of killings, kidnappings and other “unwanted situation” within its jurisdiction. 

It further termed the latest incident as ‘unwanted situation’ and urged NSCN (K) cadres to restrain from such acts in future in order to create a congenial peaceful atmosphere in the society.
