Dental camp at Ebenezer orphanage Home in Dimapur

‘Aarogya’, an international health voluntary project by Dental Students Welfare association of India conducted a dental camp at Ebenezer Orphanage Home, DC court, Dimapur and around the area under the guidance of Dr. Temjennungsang Longchari on July 7.

The program also runs under the banner of Rotaract Cosmopolitan and International Association of Dental Students. Free medicine and oral hygiene aids were distributed to all children.

‘Aarogya’ which is currently running in 7 countries including India has organized several international level camps in rural as well as in urban parts of India.

Having treated more than 7500 patients in the last month itself, the project hopes to treat more than 5 lakh people all over the world by the end of 2012.

The chief patron of the initiative, Dr. Roberto Vianna mentioned in a statement that he was happy to see people working without any personal gains for the community.

‘Aarogya’ Nagaland incharge Dr.Temjennunsang Longchari with his co-ordinators and volunteers plan to organize not only dental health camps, but also organize dental awareness camps and lectures, have atruamatic restorative treatments, conservative treatment and restoration etc.
