Tzudir Motors (Bajaj bike) showroom was inaugurated at Mokokchung on Saturday.
The show room is an authorized sub-dealer for SK Bajaj, Nagaland.
Located near Indian Oil (IOC) petrol pump, it perhaps will be the first in Mokokchung where an authorized dealer has established its outlet dealing with motor bikes. This also, perhaps will mark the move of Mokokchung town into becoming an important commercial centre that will cater to the needs of a larger part of the state.
The showroom was inaugurated by Lanukaba President Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries, who graced the inaugural as the guest of honour. A brief program was held after the ribbon was cut by the guest of honor that was attended representatives of various civil societies like Ao Senden, Watsu Mungdang, Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem, Kichutip ward executive, members from Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries besides friends and well wishers.
At the program, the guest of honor in his brief speech appreciated the proprietor, Lanuwapang for his efforts. He said by opening this showroom, it would fulfill one of the points of ‘Mokokchung Vision’ authored by him.
He went on to add that there was scarcity of marketing linkages in the town and was thus lacking behind economically.
For this, he said Mokokchung should strive to make itself into a transit market. He stressed on the need for starting new enterprises and also suggested the youngsters of the many avenues of business opportunities.
He called upon the people particularly the youngsters to widen the scope and look beyond the borders. Also, President of Ao Senden, Chairman of Kichutip Ward executive and others also spoke at the program. The proprietor, Lanuwapang thanked all for the support, and also sought their cooperation.
He also added the showroom would be a complete solution to all the needs including spares and after sales service.
The dedicatory prayer was offered by Rev. Lima, Pastor Kumlong Baptist Church.
