Naga National Council (Non Accordist) of Yimchungrü region has alleged that the proposed executive meeting convened by NNC Yimchungru region on July 13 and 14 in Yimchungru region has been diverted and conducted at Mopungchuket village in Ao region.
MIP, Yimchungru region NNC (NA) in a press release questioned as to why proposed meeting was held in Ao region instead of Yimchungru region and stated it was “unacceptable and unjustifiable” by the region.
MIP also stated that the meeting was held without the knowledge of Kiumukam ‘Tatar’ and cheating the name in the press release and should not be practiced if it was working for real Naga causes.
NNC (NA) Yimchungru region also clarified, “we are not a terminated group as published in the local dailies and it does not arise, but only V. Nagi has been terminated by the six regions of Yimchungru region, Chang region, Sangtam region, Konyak region, Sumi region and Zeliang region.”
NNC (NA) Yimchungru region also said the Naga political groups should know or identify the status of Accordist/ Non- Accordist group and function accordingly and leaders should not be in the position of ‘jealously’ as the nation was not for an individual but was for the common cause of the Naga nation.
