The first ever hip-hop video album in the state ‘Panache’ by ‘Elemenz’ was released by Gugs Chishi, director, Music Task Force Nagaland at Dream Café Kohima on Friday. The album features Imli Lee and DJ Akok supported by M&M media works.
Chishi addressing the gathering as chief guest, said the successful release of the album was a sign of hard work, commitment and dedication of the team.
He also encouraged the team to move forward with the right attitude and to always encourage one another.
The members said that their motive of releasing the album was to promote young talented dancers in the state as well the north east.
Sharing their experiences, the group said there were many obstacles on their way, but their passion for dancing helped them fulfill their dreams.
The 5 male dancers are Anung Walling, Akehoto Yeptho, Sentimeren Jamir, Akumlenba Longkumer and Zacukhoyi (Zack), all college going students except Anung who is a government employee.
The album will be available at Dream Café Kohima, Aria, below Imlong place Mokokchung, La Premiere Notun basti and K Lounge Dimapur at Rs. 200.
Further the group plans to produce more albums in the near future in collaboration with other dancers in the state.
