Confederation of Chessore Student’s Union (CCSU) along with the present students of Government High School Chessore launched an agitation on Thursday, demanding immediate transfer of teachers neglecting duties along with head master Thongrhomo Odyuo, who “is incapable” to administer the institution.
The agitation started from main junction Chessore Town and later marched towards the school holding placards, pamphlets and banners which read, “We want sincere teacher”, “Don’t spoil our future”, “Stop fooling the students”, “We want quality education”.
Confederation stated that as per the request made by N. Inaho Rochill assistant head master classes would resume for the welfare of the students, but demands would be clearly indicated through a letter to the education department through district education officer Tuensang, in which the confederation would wait till August 22.
The confederation said in case of failure to fulfill the demand further course of action would be initiated and agitation would start from August 23.
CCSU further warned that the higher authority would be held fully responsible if they failed to comply with their demand within the stipulated time frame.
