Princess Diana was never happier than when with her two sons Now says Shut up Andrew Morton, Princess Di would be proud of pin-up Prince Harry
Princess Diana’s biographer Andrew Morton believes Diana would have been thrilled at the prospect of her first grandchild.
Prince William’s mum, the late Princess of Wales, died in a car crash in Paris in 1996 at the age of 36.

She never got to see her son Prince William, 30, marry Kate Middleton, and she won’t be there to help out as his own children grow up. ‘[She] would have loved being a grandmother,’ Andrew tells The Sun.

‘She always wanted a daughter – if she had married again, doubtless she would have had more children – but a grandchild is a special delight. ‘Fun to play with but you can also hand them back.’
