Global Open University Nagaland (TGOUN) held its annual social 2012 (freshers cum parting social) on Tuesday at the university headquarters.
Speaking as the chief guest, NEZCC, director, Som Kamei urged youngsters to be well equipped in order face new challenges not only academically but professionally.
He also stressed on the importance of global economic changes that has touched mankind. Living in a globalized economy, Kamei encouraged the students to mix with other communities instead of be confined to their own community and stated, “Let your personality grow by facing new people”.
He also said along with proper equipped educational knowledge, one should also be careful about their lifestyle especially while living in the metropolis. Several presentations were made by the fashion designing students and others.
