As per schedule the ex-underground khellers of industrial village, Razhüphe, Dimapur, during its meeting held on September 14 decided to produce the Court Order issued on October 11, 2010, and police final report before the encroachers over the suit land of ex-underground khellers alloted to them by the land owner vide various DC’s orders for their rehabilitation.
According to a press statement issued by the ex-underground khellers secretary, Logoshen Lotha, the house also discussed about the summon received from the Court of Y.M Imchen, additional district and sessional judege, Dimapur, and all the allottees agreed to appear before the Court on September 28.
The statement also stated that everyone was aware that not an “inch” of land belonged to the state government and also the allotted land not acquired by the government.
Unless the land was acquired by the government from the landowner, no authority has the right to allot any land to any agency/anyone, said the ex-underground khellers.
Since the said land was allotted to them by the landowner, T.L Angami for their rehabilitation and resettlement, the ex-underground khellers asserted that it would not allow “encroachers” to take away the said land from their “hands with any procedure of law”.
