Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Dimapur organized one-day farmers exposure trip at Dimapur for farmers and women SHG’s under Medziphema, Dhansiripar, Kuhuboto and Niuland Block on September 19.
The team visited agri and allied activities namely – sericulture department, Nihokhu areca – plate making, Nagaland Beekeeping Honey mission and Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre during the trip.
Altogether, 26 farmers participated in the trip that was led by Janet Chishi deputy project director (ATMA), while officials representing each block were Sentinaro Longchar BTM (Dhansiripar), Akavi Holo BTM (Kuhuboto), Angela BTM (Medziphema).
Meanwhile, the participants have expressed gratitude to ATMA Dimapur for organizing the exposure trip for the farming community.
