One man was killed in a road mishap early Saturday around 5 km away from Kohima, before reaching Phesama. The mishap occurred when a truck bearing registration number NL01A-0842 carrying iron fabrication rolled down more than 200 feet below the road. Police sources said the victim has been identified as Rahul Chetri (26) hailing from Mantri Pukhari, Manipur. He died on the spot. The actual cause of the accident could not be ascertained till the time of filing this report.
